Fan Group Take Over OEC

As part of our purchase agreement, the fan led group have agreed to take over the operation of the Oldham Event Centre. This will commence on Monday, May 20th.

We will be making an announcement regarding a operational appointments to oversee this over the course of the next week.

This development allows us to bring forward our plans for the completion of the 2nd floor, and other developments within the North Stand.

As we move to our next phase we have, in conjunction with the current landowners, provided the football club with a commercial agreement for the operation of matchday hospitality for the 2019/20 season.

To be clear, this agreement includes; The executive boxes, the 100 club hospitality and other matchday hospitality operations. We are currently awaiting the completion of this agreement.

As previously announced, the purchase includes the ground, stands, North Stand and Car Parks. We continue to have very positive talks with the current landowners, who have been extremely cooperative and supportive at every step ,as we look to secure the long term stability of the Club.

As a group we will endeavour to be as open and transparent with the fanbase as we possibly can. We know that you will appreciate that at this stage there are a number of commercial and contractual sensitivities that we cannot disclose. We would also like to thank Trust Oldham for their continued support.
